Jim got his brand new Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06. The new C8 has been a widely popular American sports car since its launch. The Z06 is very different from a base C8. It has a flat-plane crank V8, which you can only find on European exotic cars like Ferraris. This 5.5-liter V8 can burst 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque while reaching a RPM of 8400. Although the new power train and exterior styling are exciting on Jim's C8 Corvette Z06, the factory-equipped aluminum wheels were not his favorite. Jim wanted a more sporty wheel design and aggressive wheel offsets to make the wheels sit flush with the fenders. After a consultation with us and a few renders, we decided on the race-inspired FL1 in a Brushed Gloss Clear finish to complement the attention-grabbing Red Mist Metallic exterior. Jim also replaced the Run-on-Flat tires that came with the car and put on a fresh set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S to extract the significant performance upgrade that the new engine brings. Now Jim is happy with the new wheel fitment. A different set of wheels transforms the entire car into a sight that looks even better.
